Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

By using Reinstated you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What Reinstated is

Reinstated is a drafting tool. You describe what happened to your account, and the service generates a formal letter you can edit and submit yourself through the relevant platform's own appeal process.

What Reinstated is not

  • Not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, and using this service does not create a solicitor-client or attorney-client relationship. For disputes involving contracts, employment status, or significant sums of money, consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.
  • Not affiliated with any platform. Reinstated is independent and has no relationship with Etsy, Amazon, Airbnb, eBay, PayPal, Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Instacart, TikTok, Shopify, Upwork, Walmart, Google, or any other platform named on this site.
  • Not a guarantee. We do not and cannot guarantee that your account will be reinstated. The platform makes that decision entirely on its own.
  • Not a submission service. We do not contact any platform on your behalf. You submit your own letter.

Your responsibilities

  • Everything you tell the service must be accurate. Letters are generated from your account of events, and a letter built on inaccurate facts can damage your appeal.
  • You must read and edit the generated letter before sending it. It is a draft, not a finished submission.
  • You are responsible for meeting any deadline stated in your suspension notice.
  • You must not use the service to draft letters containing knowingly false statements, or to harass, threaten, or defame any person.
  • You must not resell, redistribute, or present the service's output as the work of a licensed professional.

Accuracy of guidance

The guides and policy context on this site are paraphrased general summaries of publicly documented platform behaviour. Platforms change their policies, routes, and deadlines without notice. Always verify against the platform's own current documentation before you submit anything.

Plans and payment

  • Previewing a letter is free.
  • Single Appeal is a one-time payment of $29 that unlocks the full letter for that appeal.
  • Complete Appeal Kit is a one-time payment of $49 that adds follow-up and escalation letters, an evidence checklist, and a submission guide.
  • Pro is $19 per month for unlimited letters and renews monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

All prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive your card details. Where you purchased through the Google Play Store, that store's billing and cancellation terms apply in addition to these.

Refunds

See our Refund Policy.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service depends on third-party providers and may be unavailable during maintenance or outages.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reinstated is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any lost income, lost account, lost data, or other indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or from a platform's decision on your appeal. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions do not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
