Reinstated ("we", "our", or "the app") helps people draft appeal letters after a seller, host, or driver account is suspended, deactivated, or limited. This policy explains what information we handle, how we use it, and your choices.

What we handle

What you type or paste. Your explanation, chosen platform, account or listing name, and any notice text or screenshot you upload are sent to our AI provider (Google's Gemini API) for the sole purpose of generating your letter. We do not store this content on our servers after the request completes.
Payment information. If you buy a plan, payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details. Stripe tells us only whether a payment succeeded and which plan it was for.
Local device storage. Your draft letters, appeal history, and a record of which plan you purchased are kept in your browser's local storage, on your own device. This is what lets a letter you paid for still be there after you close the tab or return from the payment page. None of it is sent to us, and you can erase all of it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, or the app's storage in your device settings.

What we don't do

We don't create user accounts or require sign-in.
We don't sell or share your information with advertisers.
We don't run advertising or cross-site tracking.
We don't build a profile of you or retain a database of submissions.

Third-party services

Google Gemini API — processes the text and images you submit to generate letter content. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Stripe — processes payments and subscriptions. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Netlify — hosts this site and its backend functions, and keeps standard server access logs. Subject to Netlify's Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts — serves the typeface used on this site.

Data retention

We do not maintain a database of user submissions. Letter content is processed transiently to generate your response and is not retained by us afterwards. Your letters and history live only in your browser's storage on your device, never on our servers, and you can clear them at any time by clearing site or app data.

Sensitive information

Please do not paste government identification numbers, full bank or card numbers, or other sensitive identifiers into the form. They are not needed to draft a letter, and your appeal will not be improved by including them.

Your rights

Because we do not store your submissions or operate user accounts, there is generally no personal data held by us to access, correct, or delete. For payment records, Stripe acts as processor and you can contact us to request assistance with a transaction. If you are in the EEA or UK, our lawful basis for processing the content you submit is performance of the service you requested.

Children's privacy

Reinstated is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date above.
